Eligibility: Eight is open and welcome to individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and locations.
Non-Discrimination: We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, gender, sexual orientation, religion, nationality, disability, or any other characteristic. Everyone is welcome to register interest and apply to eight.
Membership Selection:
By submitting an application for membership (form on our website or Google Docs application form), you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
The selection of members for Eight is at the complete control and sole discretion of the Membership Committee.
Factors considered by the Membership Committee in reviewing applications may include, but are not limited to:
The extent of the applicant’s connection to existing members through the referral program.
Various demographic factors including age, location, sexual orientation, and interests, among others.
The Membership Committee reserves the right to consider additional factors deemed relevant to maintaining the integrity and values of Eight.
Applicants who are not granted immediate access will be placed on a waitlist, which is continually reviewed by a dedicated team for additional admissions.
Event Access:
Eight events are invite-only, designed to be intimate gatherings bringing together like-minded individuals.
Selection for each event is unique and based on individual offers and the discretion of Eight.
The Company reserves the right to vary the selection criteria for each event based on the specific nature and objectives of the gathering.
Email and WhatsApp Communication:
By submitting the form on our website, you agree to receive communication from us via email and WhatsApp.
We will use the email address and phone number provided in the form to contact you for relevant purposes related only to your submission. We will not be sharing your data with any third parties.
Communication via email and WhatsApp may include but is not limited to updates, notifications, promotional offers, and other relevant information pertaining to our services.
We will make reasonable efforts to ensure that emails and WhatsApp messages are sent securely and in accordance with applicable privacy laws and regulations.
You understand that email and WhatsApp communication may not be entirely secure, and we cannot guarantee the confidentiality of information transmitted via these platforms. We will ensure that data stored is encrypted and for no longer than required for its purpose.
You may opt-out of receiving emails or WhatsApp messages from us at any time by notifying us that you wish to do so.
We reserve the right to modify or terminate email and WhatsApp communication services at any time without prior notice.
We will not be liable for any loss or damages arising from the use of email or WhatsApp communication, including but not limited to delays, interruptions, or unauthorised access to your information.

By submitting the form on our website or Google Forms and providing your information, you consent to the collection, storage, and processing of your personal data in accordance with these Terms & Conditions.
Your personal data provided through the form may be used for purposes including but not limited to: processing your inquiry or submission related to eight events, providing you with the requested services or information, sending you relevant marketing communications, and improving our website or Google Forms and services.
We will not disclose your personal data to third parties except as required by law or with your explicit consent.
We will take reasonable measures to protect your personal data from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
Your personal data will be stored securely and retained only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes.
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by us. Requests should be made in writing to the contact information provided on our website.

Event T&C’s:
By purchasing a ticket for an eight event, you consent and agree to the following. If you purchase a ticket for a +1, you consent and agree to the following on their behalf.
Ticket purchases are non-refundable. Each recipient of a ticket link may purchase a maximum of two tickets per event. Tickets purchased through our platform are non-transferable. They are only valid for the individual who received the ticket link directly. You agree not to share the ticket link with anyone who has not been directly sent the link. Any unauthorised distribution of the ticket link will result in the invalidation of the ticket(s).
Conduct: You agree to be respectful to everyone you meet at our events including other clients, hosts and venue staff. Any reasonable complaint against your conduct will result in a permanent event ban with no option for a refund.
Booking change requests must be received by email 48 hours prior to the event date. This is only in the case of updating us with the name and contact details of your plus one. We can only accept one change request per booking.
Under extraordinary circumstances, venues are subject to change or cancellation at any time prior to the event start time on the day of the event.
eight cannot guarantee you will meet a specific number of attendees at a given event or that there will be an equal number of male and female guests attending.
eight holds events at venues that are independently owned and run. Therefore for any damages suffered, physical or otherwise, you agree that eight and its associates cannot be held responsible or liable.
The use of illegal drugs is strictly prohibited at our events. Any attendee found in possession of or using drugs will be immediately asked to leave. We encourage responsible alcohol consumption. However, if you are deemed to be excessively intoxicated and your behaviour is disruptive or poses a risk to yourself or others, you will be asked to leave the event.
By purchasing tickets and or participating in an eight event you agree that neither eight or its staff or associates is liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from partaking in eight events. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with eight. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and or emotional distress and discomfort.
We reserve the right to verify the identity of attendees at any event organised by us. This may include checking valid photo identification such as a passport, driving licence, or any other government-issued ID. The minimum age for attending our events is 18 years. Failure to provide satisfactory identification upon request, or failure to meet the minimum age requirement, may result in denial of entry to the event without a refund. We prioritise the safety and security of all event participants and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
eight can take no responsibility for the safety and security of your personal belongings whilst attending an event.
eight cannot verify the identity or background of any participant at our events. eight is not liable for the conduct of individuals at eight events. eight does not conduct criminal background checks on its users or verify statements made by its users. eight makes no representations or warranties as to the conduct, background or fitness of the people invited or their compatibility with any current or future users. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of user-provided information or the behaviour of other attendees.
eight is not responsible for the conduct of any user or your experience at any in-person meeting, event, or venue you are invited to or otherwise attend through the service. Your use of the service is at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others you meet through eight – this includes, but is not limited to, in-person interactions with those you meet through eight, and your attendance at any event or venue promoted, hosted, or otherwise made available to you through eight.
eight is not liable for the conduct of individuals at eight events. While we endeavour to ensure the privacy and safety of all users’ interactions at events, we have no involvement, and disclaim all responsibly, with respect to in-person interactions at eight or after any eight event. As noted below, in no event shall the eight, its affiliates or its officers, directors, employees or agents be liable (directly or indirectly) for any losses or damages whatsoever, whether direct, indirect, general, special, compensatory, consequential, and/or incidental, arising out of or relating to the conduct of you or anyone else, whether or not in connection with eight, including, without limitation, death, bodily injury, emotional distress, and/or any other damages resulting from communications, meetings or interactions with other users or persons you meet through eight.
You agree to take all necessary precautions in all interactions with other users and in attending any event, particularly if you decide to communicate outside of an eight event or meet in person, or if you decide to provide personal information, contact information, or money to another user. We ask you to approach any meeting with any participant of an eight event with the same caution that you would exercise in any other situation.
Limitation of liability: By using our service, you agree that you will not take legal action against us for any claims or disputes covered in our terms and conditions. This includes but is not limited to disputes related to event attendance, interactions with other users, or any other matters outlined in our terms and conditions.
You acknowledge that eight events may be photographed and/or video recorded for promotional and archival purposes. By attending these events, you consent to being photographed, filmed, or otherwise recorded. You grant eight the right to use your name, likeness, image, voice, and appearance as part of any recording, including but not limited to promotional materials, advertisements, social media posts, emails, and other marketing content, without compensation or further approval. You agree that these photos and videos may be posted on social media platforms or used in email communications by eight for promotional purposes. Eight may share these photos and videos with partners, sponsors, or media outlets for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be photographed or recorded, please inform the event organiser prior to the event. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee complete exclusion from event footage.
